Banana Splits and Laura Visits for 6 Hours

Good Times in Lausanne!

On Wednesday, November 12, our great RA's, Kelly M. and Josh S. made banana splits for all of us. It was so nice to take a break from studies and just relax with other people in the house.

The following weekend, on Saturday, November 15, Laura S. came all the way from Heidelberg, Germany to hang out with us for the day! She spent close to 10 hours traveling and only about 6 in Lausanne. It was so great to see her and hang out with her. We went to Le Barbare for their famous hot chocolate and also bought groceries at the store in order to make Mexican food, or at least attempt to. (Below: Caroline, Myself and Laura enjoying our "Mexican" food)I made us quesadillas, but they did not taste like the great Tex-Mex I am use to. After that we went to Starbucks and before we knew it it was time to make sure that she caught her train on time. Even though she was there for a very small about of time, it was still well worth it. (Below: Caroline, Laura and I as we say goodbye at the train station)
Here is the album from Laura's visit:
